ABK Group adopts product certifications that guarantee compliance with nationally and internationally recognised environmental, technical and performance standards.

Ecobody

Certifies the use of ceramic bodies containing at least 40% high-quality raw materials recovered from production cycles.

Leed

Our products contribute towards obtaining LEED credits, promoting sustainable construction.

CE marking

Mandatory for the European market, it indicates that ABK Group products meet essential safety, hygiene and consumer-protection requirements in accordance with European directives.

CCC marking

(China Compulsory Certificate) This is a mandatory conformity certification in China, ensuring that exported ceramic surfaces comply with the technical and safety regulations of the Chinese market.

SASO Quality Mark

Certification issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). It is mandatory for the export of certain products to the Saudi market, particularly to ensure compliance with the technical, safety and quality requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Good Phytosanitary Practices (GPP)

Certifies the adoption of phytosanitary practices that comply with the standards required for shipments to the United States, ensuring compliance with regulations governing wood packaging and the prevention of the spread of harmful organisms.

Innovation through circularity

Since 2014, ABK Group has used ECO-BODY ceramic bodies formulated with at least 40% regenerated raw materials. We reuse residues from glazes and raw materials, reducing our dependence on virgin resources.

Efficient energy management

We have invested more than €40 million in high-efficiency plants and energy recovery. Our cogeneration system at the Solignano plant covers approximately 95% of the facility's energy needs through waste-heat recovery. Total energy consumption fell by 5.6% in 2024, while indirect emissions (Scope 2) decreased by more than 65%.
